AHOY Low Impact Aerobics and Boot Camp
AHOY - Adding Health to Our Years
Greensboro Parks & Recreation's Active Adults Program offers free low-impact aerobics classes for active adults ages 50 and better called "AHOY." The classes include warm up, aerobics, cool down, and strength training with hand weights and/or exercise bands. The workouts can be modified by you to fit your abilities.
Classes are currently offered at the City's two active adult centers, Smith and Trotter, and six other community recreation centers. Classes are ongoing throughout the year with the exception of holidays and revised summer schedules. On your first visit, please arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork and get checked in.
