The Summer Cheer Skills Camp will meet for three days to provide a positive opportunity for youth to participate in a structured environment that focuses on flexibility, flipping, and tumbling techniques. Registration includes a t-shirt.

Members of the community will be able to enjoy an outdoor yard sale in the Brown parking lot. Those wanting to sell household items can purchase a space to do so for $10. Admission into the event to shop is free. Spaces are limited.

Elevate your coloring game with guided instruction by local artist, Darlene McClinton, who will share introductory techniques on blending, shading, color-mixing and more - with crayons, colored pencils and pastels. Workshop will have limited spaces, but there will be an open coloring station available for drop-ins.

Tune in to some good music while you tune up your bicycle! Join us at LoFi Park on the Downtown Greenway on Wednesday, May 29 from 6-8 pm, as we celebrate National Bike Month! We'll have a DJ spinning tunes and volunteer bike mechanics providing simple bicycle tune-ups. Learn about the "ABC Quick Check" and some basic bike maintenance while enjoying the company of other folks who like to ride.

Pre-registration is encouraged, however, walk-ups are welcome. LoFi Park is located at 500 N. Eugene Street.

Thank you for your interest in the Downtown Greenway Guided Walking Tours! Join us as we share a wealth of information about the greenway, Greensboro's history, surrounding neighborhoods, public art installations, environmental stewardship, economic impact, and more!

Each tour will take approximately 3 hours to complete the 4-mile loop of the Downtown Greenway, and will start and finish in LoFi Park located at 500 N. Eugene Street. On-street parking is available in the area, or at the public parking deck at 215 N. Eugene Street. We ask that you do not use the parking lots of nearby businesses, our of respect for their customers and business needs.

Please arrive a few minutes before the scheduled tour start time, and be sure to wear comfortable walking attire and footwear. We recommend dressing in layers, wearing a hat or sunscreen, and bringing a water bottle. We will stop a number of times at various points of interest; however, there are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS available along the loop. Participants of all ages are welcome, but we ask that you leave your dogs this time :)

If you are coordinating for others in your group to join, each individual person will need to sign-up for a spot on WebTrac through their own household account. Each tour can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests.

Join us for an afternoon tea party! Participants ages 3-9 years old will dress pretty for a tea party with friends and family. During the party, they will learn proper table etiquette, eat and play games. Nail services (nail painting) will also be offered to children.

Greensboro Parks and Recreation is excited to offer Greensboro Mountain Biking Experience ! Trails are preserved in a primitive manner and are linear; perfect for enjoying a ride! The number of bikes we have is limited so registration is required.

We have bikes available in sizes, S, M, ML, and L. We also have youth bike sizes available. Each available size is listed in a separate section below. Pick the appropriate sized bike for the rider height provided in the section description.

Riders must be age 9 or older to register! Please register each rider individually. To add a member to your household for registration, go to My Account > Add Household Member.

We'll provide the Bike! We will provide helmets if necessary but if participants have their own that is preferable. All participants MUST bring their own water. Bike gloves are recommended if available.
