The Summer Cheer Skills Camp will meet for three days to provide a positive opportunity for youth to participate in a structured environment that focuses on flexibility, flipping, and tumbling techniques. Registration includes a t-shirt.

Glenwood Summer Day Camp

Registration Opens March 1st at Midnight.

Join us for our Mini Mountain Biking Camp! This is not a learn how to mountain bike camp. Campers MUST have prior trail experience and are comfortable riding off road. The staff will be building upon techniques and skills that the campers should already have. If you are unsure as to whether your child would be able to keep up with the group please contact the lead instructor, Lauren Elledge at [email protected] to set up a time to speak with her so that she can assess your child's skills prior to registering them for this camp.

Campers will have to bring their own lunch everyday. We will provide snacks, water and gatorade. Campers will also have to bring their own helmets on each day of camp. We will be riding on various trails in the Greensboro Parks and Recreation trail system throughout the course of the week.

Please be mindful that this is a half day camp running 8:30am-12:30pm

Join Parks and Recreation Staff for our Nature Preschool Program called Littles on the Lake!

Each date for the Littles on the Lake program will touch on a different topic so you do not have to attend all of the program dates but we certainly encourage it. We will begin each program with a short book, followed by a craft and then a snack before we depart. All of our programs will take place outside and inside so please dress the kids accordingly. Program cost is $2.00.

This camp is designed for youth ages 12-15. The cost of camp covers all program activities, field trips, snacks and t-shirts. The drop-off location for Xtreme Teen Adventure week will be Lake Higgins, located at 4235 Hamburg Mill Road, Summerfield, NC. Drop-offs and pick-ups at Lake Higgins will be made between 7:30-8:00 am and 3:30-4:00 pm respectively. Details will be emailed closer to the start of camp.
